Experience
      Freelance Film & Photo Production Assistant • Summer 2014 - 2015
Assisted productions as a Camera PA, Tech PA and Set PA. Worked on television shows such as: After the Raves (Red Bull TV), Say Yes to the Dress (TLC), What Could Possibly Go Wrong (Science), and Ghost Adventures (Travel Channel). Worked with Lightbox Libraries for a McKesson Corp. photo-shoot,  Piranha Pictures advertisements for Alameda Health Care System, and an ecological-documentary video for OurBayOnTheBrink.com (Waterbound Productions). Production experience also on Staff Me Up. Experience with Canon C300, C100, 5D, Nikon D7100, Prime Lenses, assisting with Sony XDCAM. Details available here.
      DNA Premium Photography Graphic Artist • Winter 2014 - 2015
Ensured quality of final product, selecting and editing photos during shoot for client to view sample photos of their photography sessions. Designed centerfold spreads for photo books, fulfilled orders. Used Lightroom, and Portraiture plugins and Photoshop with final Action plugins. 
      Historic Photograph Restorer and Archiver • Summer 2014 - 2015
Worked with documentary-filmmaker Chris Thompson to restore historic photographs from the beginnings of today's brilliant Santa Cruz surfing culture. This work was done in part for Thompson's film series: Out of the Blue: The Story of the Santa Cruz Surfing Club. Used Photoshop CS6 to clean and refurbish the digitally scanned images, keeping attentive care to alter the content of the images as little as possible.
      Art Department Television Production Assistant • Summer - Fall 2014
Worked with the Indigo Films Television Production company as they staged and filmed recreations for the television series: Wives with Knives (Season 3) for the Investigation Discovery Channel. Designed sets, managed props, worked in harmony with the wardrobe and makeup departments to recreate flesh wounds, bruises, and injuries. Also ensured continuity with scenes in which the mise-en-scène was displaced.
      Video and Photography Intern • Winter - Spring 2013
Worked as an event photographer and videographer for the Museum of Art and History in Santa Cruz, California. Attended private events­­ as well as museum wide 1st and 3rd Friday events. Documented instances that supported their mission: “to ignite shared experiences and unexpected connections.” 
      Filmmaker and Producer • Spring 2013 - 2014
Received the UCSC Art department’s Irwin Project Grant and the Porter College Creative Grant to fund the making of the art-film: Plant Your Seed. The full-length score was written by Matthew Fisherkeller, a Music Composition graduate student at Mills College with solo improvisation by multiple musicians. 
      Exhibited Artist & Photographer • Summer 2012 
Presented selected works in the “Time Exposures” photography exhibit hosted by professional, Cindy Pavlinac, in an invite-only show hosted for photography interns. Exhibited black & white digital prints at the Artworks Downtown Studios.       Researcher for S.A.M. Resource for Emerging Artist • Summer 2012   
Created a resource website with the Student Art Movement (with faculty sponsorship by Christina Waters, PhD.), for emerging artists to find resources and financial support. The course  catalogued an enormous database of information globally for Grants, Scholarships, and Artist Residencies. Visit the website at: http://samresources.weebly.com/
      Photographer • Spring 2012  
Employed as a photographer for Transportation and Parking Services at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Worked closely with T.A.P.S. Marketing and Publications Manager, Candice Ward. Photos were taken for UCSC publications to promote environmental awareness concerning alternative modes of transportation.
      Roco Dance & Fitness Videographer • Spring 2010
Filmed a Roco Dance Company in-house performance, edited footage using Final Cut Pro, created a menu using DVD Studio Pro, and sold DVD’s.
      Sacred Land Photography Intern • Winter 2009
Assisted professional photographer, Cindy Pavlinac in studio. Prepared exhibits, matted and framed pieces, edited video with Final Cut Pro, scanned and edited photo-slides with Photoshop. Greeted clients, updated contact lists, helped prepare an educational presentation, shipped out-going goods. Aided with lighting and backdrops.

       B.A. - University of California, Santa Cruz • September 2010 - June 2014 
Studied as a Film & Digital Media as well as Fine Art double–major, graduated June 2014. Cum Laude. 

      Tamalpais High School • August 2007 – June 2010   
Enrolled in traditional high school courses as well as the 2 year, interdisciplinary film program: The Academy of Integrated Medias, as well as two AP Studio Art courses.

Skills
Dexterous with photo and video cameras—focusing on perfecting lighting, composition and cinematography. Adept with video and sound editing using Final Cut Pro 7 & X. Skilled with Photoshop, Lightroom, Microsoft Office, Compressor, and Digital Drawing with a stylus. Experience with mounting and displaying artwork for exhibitions, and photographing artwork. Experience with metal fabrication and welding. Rapt attention regarding artistic and creative growth, as well as general interest in collaboration with other individuals. Fluent in French.
